Disturbing Movies

I am a fan of horror movies and I feel I have seen my fair share of brutal and gory films including the gore splatterfest Peter Jackson's 1992 film "Braindead". But, what I wanna know is, what are the top most disturbing films that can really leave a mark on one's memory.

I have seen a couple of disturbing ones as 'Audition', 'Ken Park', 'Irreversible', 'Baise Moi', 'Trainspotting'?, 'City of Gods', 'Clockwork Orange', 'Brazil', (heck, might as well throw in) 'Caligula', 'Testuo : The Iron Man' etc. [Fazz, what was that Korean movie with the stick that I lent you sometime back?]

Still trying to get hold of 'Salo' (super super sadistic), 'Ichi the Killer' (vile), 'Closet Land' (vile).

Living in Malaysia doesn't really make it easy to find, but if anyone knows how I can get hold of the said movies, please do let me know.

I have seen 'Seul Contre Tous' (I Stand Alone), Eraserhead on sale somewhere in the Damansara Uptown area but haven't gotten round to buying it just yet.

For your info, after doing some search on disturbing movies on the web, you might enjoy reading the following:-

It certainly has been a long time since I last wrote.

Anyway, I am writing today just to update the list of movies I would like to suggest to all ye hardcore disturbing movie lovers.

I am presuming that you would have all watched and, to a certain extent, enjoyed the 'Saw' series (directed/produced by James Wan (heard that he is a fellow Malaysian)), if so, then you would certainly love 'Hostel' (directed by Eli Roth, produced by Tarantino). This movie would definitely keep you thinking of it for days after watching it. I found this movie particularly difficult to watch at that point of time ... don't get me wrong, I enjoy these kind of movies, but I was caught off guard (... as I was expecting some sort of a chick-flick movie with a lot of nudity and sexual content) unfortunatelty I didn't get much of either but was greeted with drills, chainsaws and surgical knives and a lot of blood.

Heh heh ...

i was trying to think of something more disturbing than ordinary folks (with families) paying for the privilege of killing people in as gruesome a manner as they desire: i can't.
